Peppol ID of a Belgian company
Since 1 January 2026, invoices between Belgian businesses go through Peppol. Search for a company to see whether it is registered and find its ID.
Neither the directory nor the Peppol network registry lists it today. This is not proof: the registration may be recent or under another ID — ask for theirs.
Registered = the company can receive electronic invoices via Peppol. Indicative information; source: Peppol network (OpenPeppol).
Frequently asked questions
What is the Peppol ID of a Belgian company?
Usually 0208 followed by its 10-digit enterprise number (e.g. 0208:0561776191). Some companies are also registered with their VAT number (9925:BE…).
Since when is Peppol mandatory?
Since 1 January 2026 for invoices between VAT-registered businesses in Belgium; fines may apply since 1 April 2026.
My invoice does not arrive: what should I check?
That the recipient is registered on Peppol under the ID you use, and that your software sends in Peppol format. If in doubt, ask the recipient for its ID.
Can a company that is not found not receive invoices?
Not necessarily: the registration may be recent or under another ID. This result is an indication, not proof.
